From browsing our weekly menu to checking out, placing an order with Emerald City Fresh is simple and flexible. Here's everything you need to know about how ordering works, minimums, and deadlines.

  • You can place an order directly at emeraldcityfresh.com by browsing the current weekly menu and adding meals to your cart. Both one-time orders and recurring subscriptions are available. All orders must be placed by Tuesday at 11:59 PM PT to be included in that week's Sunday delivery.

  • Yes, there is a $75 minimum order per delivery. This ensures efficient routing and keeps delivery fees low across the Greater Seattle area.

  • Both options are available. You can place a one-time order whenever you like, or set up a recurring weekly subscription for automatic ordering convenience. Subscriptions can be paused or canceled at any time before the weekly Tuesday 11:59 PM cutoff.

  • All orders — including new orders, modifications, and cancellations — must be submitted by Tuesday at 11:59 PM PT. Orders placed after the cutoff will be applied to the following week's delivery.

  • Our menu rotates weekly. A fresh selection of chef-prepared meals is published each week, featuring seasonal ingredients and new flavor profiles to keep your meals exciting.

  • Yes. Every meal on our menu includes full nutritional information and a detailed macro breakdown (calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat), displayed directly on the menu page so you can make informed choices that align with your dietary goals.

  • We do not currently offer dedicated dietary-specific meal lines (such as keto, vegan, or gluten-free). However, our rotating weekly menu frequently includes options that may fit various dietary preferences. We recommend reviewing each week's menu and nutritional details to find meals that work for you.

  • Many of our meals are designed to support customers on GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro. Our portion-controlled, protein-rich, macro-balanced meals align well with the nutritional guidelines often recommended for GLP-1 users. Check each meal's nutritional label for specifics.

  • We prioritize fresh, high-quality ingredients. Our menu features seasonal produce and premium proteins, prepared fresh each week by our culinary team in Seattle.

Delivery

We handle every delivery in-house across the Greater Seattle area — no third-party couriers, no guesswork. Learn about our delivery zone, schedule, and what to expect on delivery day.

  • We deliver throughout the Greater Seattle area. If you're unsure whether your address is within our delivery zone, enter your zip code at checkout or contact us at steve@emeraldcityfresh.com.

  • All deliveries are made on Sundays, with a delivery window between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM PT. You'll receive a text message notification approximately 30 minutes before your delivery arrives.

  • No. Our contactless delivery means your meals can be left safely at your door. 

  • Your meals are delivered by an Emerald City Fresh team member — not a third-party courier. 

  • Yes, a delivery fee between $5 and $15 applies to each order, depending on the distance from our kitchen to your delivery address. The exact fee is calculated and displayed at checkout.

Meal Storage & Reheating

Every Emerald City Fresh meal is designed for grab-and-go convenience throughout the week. Here's how to store, freeze, and reheat your meals for the best results.

  • Meals stay fresh for up to 5 days when stored in the refrigerator at or below 40°F. This means a Sunday delivery keeps you covered through Friday — perfect for weekday meal prep.

  • While our meals are designed to be enjoyed fresh from the fridge, most meals can be frozen for extended storage. For the best quality, freeze meals within 24 hours of delivery and consume within 30 days.

  • Yes. Every meal includes clear reheating instructions so you get the best flavor and texture every time. Most meals reheat in just 2–3 minutes in the microwave or 10–15 minutes in the oven.

Pricing & Payments

  • Meals start at $14.00 each, with prices varying based on ingredients and portion size. The full price is displayed on each meal's card in the weekly menu. A $75 minimum order and a $5–$15 delivery fee apply.

  • We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure online checkout at emeraldcityfresh.com.

Changes & Cancellations

Life happens, and we make it easy to adjust. Here's how to modify, pause, or cancel your orders and subscriptions.

  • Yes. You can modify or cancel any order — including subscription orders — before the weekly cutoff of Tuesday at 11:59 PM PT. Changes requested after the cutoff cannot be accommodated for that week's delivery.

  • You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time through your account on emeraldcityfresh.com, as long as the change is made before the Tuesday 11:59 PM PT weekly cutoff. There are no cancellation fees or long-term commitments.
